TENNIS
Through weekly sessions with qualified coaches and using the
Tennis Canada Bronze, Silver and gold program the students improve and are provided with many opportunities to grow gaining much self-confidence on the way. A team tennis program is a great way to put their new skills to work in a team environment and the kids look forward to this every year.

Tennis training done in the progressive court format using modified equipment & court sizes so your child will have fun.

FITNESS
60 minutes a day so important

Fitness is an extremely important part of our curriculum and we
would love for kids to play every day, so to help with this we provide each student with the code to play on the courts everyday even when the program isn’t taking place.
They also get a fancy shoe tag they so proudly display on their
shoes!

As we upgrade more courts we will eventually have courts close to
all our students so they can ride their bike or walk to the courts and play with friends. Each facility
will be a fantastic place for kids to play all day if they wish!

Go to www.activehealthykids.ca to read the survey just released
which provided a D- for physical activity levels among our youth.  It stated that 7% of 5-11 year olds in
Canada and 4% of 12-17 year olds. Meet the Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines for Children and Youth, which recommends 60 minutes of MVPA.   We are pleased that we are making this better in our Community
through our programming.

Childhood obesity in Canada has tripled over the past three decades.

Nutrition

Nutrition courses are taught within the curriculum so students
develop an awareness of healthy food choices for themselves. We sometimes bring examples of healthy foods so that they can see first-hand the variety of great foods to eat. We believe very strongly that these kids must nourish their minds
with healthier food choices and be aware of what are better choices to make.
