A Love of Tennis Receives Ontario Sport & Recreation Grant

We are pleased to announce that we have received $15,125 from Ontario Sport & Recreation over a two year period. This is exciting and amazing news for our organization as we will be able to train 5 of our volunteers as Tennis Canada certified instructors in order to increase capacity of the program to ensure sustainability, quality lesson plans and programming. We will also increase sport participation, build sport capacity and develop physical literacy programs for 300 children and youth who normally wouldn't be able to participate. This will help  build confidence, improve their marks in school and develop the skills to be active for life. The 300 children will participate in our team tennis league called "serving up Success", which is a fun team program where kids get to play weekly matches against other kids their age and level.  We want to thank Ontario Sport & Recreation for their amazing support as well as our many partners, Active for Life, Ontario Tennis Association, VIP Lawn Care, Ottawa Carleton School Board, and Ashley Wojdan.
