TEAMWORK

One of our core values is teamwork. I value teamwork and feel that in every aspect of our lives, whether at home, work or with our friends we are always in a team environment. It can be a very negative experience but when we feel the passion of a team working together magic can happen. The best example of an amazing positive experience where a team has come together to make things happen is the Ottawa Senators. It really is like magic. A General Manager with stage 4 cancer, a young rookie goalie and a team of young players, with a slim chance of making it to the play-offs pulled off a miracle. What really happened is that they developed spirit, looked out for each other and formed an amazing bond and a belief that if they worked together they could accomplish anything. I really admire the team and what they have accomplished. I wish them the best of luck in the play-offs but whatever happens they will always have that amazing bond with each other and the belief that nothing is impossible.
It is why I love our team tennis program so much because all those special qualities that happened with the Senators could happen with our teams. You really don't have to be the most talented but if you have the back of your teammates, work hard, are positive you may experience that same magic. There is nothing better.
