Welcome to A Love of Tennis!
Hello!
I’m Danielle Smith, Founder of A Love of Tennis.
I am so proud of the community programs that our team has created for children, youth, women and girls. It has been a sincere privilege to be part of an amazing experience to see people grow, gain confidence, laugh and learn in such a fun way through tennis.
Donations, sponsorships, and grants are critical sources of funding for our programs. They support our organization in meeting all of the costs associated with running our programs.
Collective donations go a long way. For example, every $50.00 gives us the opportunity to provide our programs to another child. By participating in A Love of Tennis ,Tennis for Everyone or Girls on the Courts, participants are taught tennis skills, improve their physical literacy, are part of a team, play weekly matches, and learn to embody our core values. Participants feel a sense of belonging in our programs, and are excited to return every year.
A Love of Tennis is passionate about community involvement and helping others. We welcome our children, youth, women and girls to get involved in any way they can, and their enthusiasm to help out and/or volunteer is greatly appreciated. An example of an amazing former student Marianne Aguhar volunteered to make a flip chart for us through her school graphic design course. She played tennis in our junior program for about 10 years and knew the programs well and wanted to help. You can see her great work under about us/ strategic plan. Enjoy! We want to thank her for her amazing contribution to our program.
In addition, we will be launching a new fundraising program to help us with programming and to raise $40,000 for lights and electricity so we can expand our programs especially in the Fall Follow us on Instagram @aloveoftennis to keep updated on current events and our fundraiser.
We thank you for your support and wish you a wonderful season on the courts!
Sincerely,
Danielle
